In 2018, a team of skincare enthusiasts from Johannesburg, South Africa, realised that despite having eco-friendly origins, most beauty brands still continued using ingredients which not only debauched the environment, but were also equally harmful on the skin in the long run. Hence, we packed our bags and travelled to the USA to identify manufacturers which took pride in using ingredients free of ANY harmful chemicals whatsoever.

After 3 years of research, endless cups of coffee and a zillion ideas later, Habitat Culture was born.
